What's up hip hop heads? I had to bring the review back your way again on another bangin' hip hop video! Some of you remember before that I covered a review on Mic Nice's track and video, "Go", on a previous blog entry. If you didn't watch that particular video and read the review, you need to go check that one out too. But on another tip, Mic Nice brought PURE FIRE, and trust me when I say this, PURE FIRE, with this new track and video, "Evil People"! Watch it below and see what I mean!
I had the chance to watch this video on Youtube and Yooo, Mic Nice brought it hard this time around! This is what I'm talking about when I say "real hip hop", that lyrical flava, that "make you think shyt" that used to be so dominant back in the 90's era, that somehow got lost along the shuffle of mainstream hip hop and all the dance style Hip POP being brought out now. Don't get me wrong, respect to those that are into that flava and hustle hard to put their music out to the masses. However for me, it all sounds the same and watered down so I stick to lyrical hip hop like the 90's used to bring my way. Tracks that used to give me chills back then. This one does that for me now, and I had to bring the review your way on this one.
Mic Nice goes to new levels with this particular track. First off, the beat is bananas, and already evokes the thoughts in mind that it's about to pull at your emotions and piss you off, anger you, and upset you in all kinds of ways. Like something's about to go down, someone's about to die, and so on. The beat went hard, but it was this kind of beat that was needed, and Mic Nice killed it on the lyrics on this track!
The lyrics were brought powerfully onto the video, and you can just feel like you were there, like you WERE Mic Nice going through the video shots and speaking the real about the nonsense going on in this society we live in, the evil people among us that always seem to keep you down even when you're trying to do your best not to let them get to you in that way. I don't want to elaborate too much in detail on the video as you have to really SEE it to get the feel I'm talking about. But yo, I was pissed off for real with certain scenarios on the video that unfolded and was like "Damn, yup, it really happens like that in this life we live in", especially if you grew up and dealt with some of the nonsense that he expressed in the video. This world is full of evil people, and some of them will come across like they really are supporting you when they're looking to stick you hard in the back!
The video was very well done though, powerful, moving, and brought you there in mindset. The scenes were really impacting, at least I know I felt so. Watch it twice if you didn't feel it the first time, and embody yourself in Mic Nice's character on the video. I'm sure you'll feel it at that point.
I think this track was bananas, the video was on point, and Mic Nice delivered powerfully as always on his lyrics over this video and bangin' beat. This is definitely a track that should be on the mainstream in my opinion, instead of the repetitive songs out now that all sound the same, and with who you honestly can't even distinguish who is the artist anymore. For you lyrical hip hop heads out there, this video is a must watch! Share this blog post along as well, let's get the video watched all across the board! I'm sure there are kats out there goin' through the same struggle as the video puts out! And feel free to follow Mic Nice on Facebook as well and check out the other videos he has on his Youtube channel!
Much respect to you all, and to you Mic Nice, this joint is a bangah most definitely! I was glad I got the chance to watch it and feel the video out! Props fam! Looking forward to you spittin' a blazin' track to one of my beats in the near future. Props.
